Laura Doran of Loon Lake Elementary School won Jay Towers In The Morning's TEACHER OF THE WEEK with Dunkin' Donuts!
We received this fantastic letter about Mrs. Doran:
Laura Doran teaches 1st grade at Loon Lake Elementary in Wixom. She has 27 students and yet finds a way to make each one feel special and unique. The children take home "Ollie the Owl" for a sleepover on their birthday and they can write a story about their adventure together. They take home the "Tooth Tote" when they\'ve lost a tooth, it has wonderful books about the tooth fairy and a binder so they can write their own story of how they lost their tooth.
Mrs. Doran maintains a facebook page and blog (www.dayswithmrsdoran.
Way to go Mrs. Doran! Chelsea from Jay Towers In The Morning stopped by to deliver Mrs. Doran a bunch of goodies from Dunkin' Donuts! Enjoy your treats and your award courtesy of Woods Trophies in St. Claire Shores!

Here's some other party etiquette tips:
Drink Policy: A host should offer you a drink immediately or direct you to the beverages.
How Many Guests Can You Bring? : Guest Policy: Unless otherwise noted, you may typically bring one guest to a holiday party.
Ways to Be a Good Guest
Tell your host whether you're attending. And do it immediately.
Be on time. Guests should arrive at or shortly after. Do not, however, arrive early.
Don't overindulge. Attacking finger foods as if you haven't eaten in a week will not only attract the wrong kind of attention, it will also leave less food for other guests.
Removing Shoes at a Party? : A hostess is within her rights to ask guests to remove their shoes

Walmart has awesome deals from 6pm -7pm on Thanksgiving night.
Here are just a few of the deals:
They are guaranteeing that these items will be in stock for one hour and if they sell out you can get a "guarantee" card. This card will guarantee the item to ship to you before Christmas.
There are 21 1-hour guarantee items, but they are at staggered hours.
ZDNet.com says, "After witnessing year after year of mob scenes when the doors to its locations have opened for Black Friday shopping, Walmart has finally wised up and decided to give out wristbands in advance of its one-hour guarantee events and for certain hot items (like the new Microsoft Xbox One and Sony PlayStation 4 video game consoles)."
Would you leave Thanksgiving dinner for these deals?

Friday morning Chelsea from Jay Towers In The Morning headed out to Harper Woods to present Mrs. Bolohan with Dunkin' Donuts treats for the whole teaching staff and give Mrs. Bolohan her official "Jay Towers In The Morning Teacher of The Week" award!
Check out some excerpts from a letter we recieved about Mrs. Bolohan:
"Mrs Bolohan is an amazing teacher. Please let me start by saying my son, Nicholas, was not very happy about going to first grade. He was convinced he was staying in kindergarten because first grade meant too much homework and no nap time. Nicholas also said that he would not be going to first grade because he did not sign up for it. That being said, we went to our first day of school. Nicholas came home and said he loved first grade. Mrs Bolohan made the entire class cloth bags to bring home books everyday to read, and encourages them to take a book wherever they go... She is very passionate about education. I could not be happier that he received her as a teacher, and she deserves to be recognized for her hard work."
Congrats, Mrs. Bolohan! Enjoy your Dunkin' Donuts and your award from Woods Tropihies in St. Claire Shores!

Here are Jay’s Top 5:
1. Peter knows how to make coffee and his family really adores his skills.
2. Who knew The Holidays could sound so good and festive with a Coke!
3. Ronald ice skating with the kid who keeps getting left behind.
