A six-year-old named Danny had a brain hemorrhage when he was born. He suffers from a serious speech impediment as a result.
He wears a suit and tie to school every day and became the water boy for the fifth grade football team.
Unfortunately, because of his choice in wardrobe and speech impediment, he gets picked on by kids at school.
The football team decided to support Danny and call it Danny Appreciation Day. They wore their own coats and ties to school!
Danny said it was the "best day ever."

After awhile, Chelsea had enough. She's in the blue jacket and holding the garden hoe. Watch the clip below.

Laura Doran of Loon Lake Elementary School won Jay Towers In The Morning's TEACHER OF THE WEEK with Dunkin' Donuts!
We received this fantastic letter about Mrs. Doran:
Laura Doran teaches 1st grade at Loon Lake Elementary in Wixom. She has 27 students and yet finds a way to make each one feel special and unique. The children take home "Ollie the Owl" for a sleepover on their birthday and they can write a story about their adventure together. They take home the "Tooth Tote" when they\'ve lost a tooth, it has wonderful books about the tooth fairy and a binder so they can write their own story of how they lost their tooth.
Mrs. Doran maintains a facebook page and blog (www.dayswithmrsdoran.
Way to go Mrs. Doran! Chelsea from Jay Towers In The Morning stopped by to deliver Mrs. Doran a bunch of goodies from Dunkin' Donuts! Enjoy your treats and your award courtesy of Woods Trophies in St. Claire Shores!
