USA: WE CAN DEFINITELY WEAR THESE AGAIN
Unlike the average bride's maid dress, I'm pretty sure the team will be able to comfortably wear these sweaters over and over.
Listen, I'm no fashion queen, but I think the Opening Ceremony sweaters for the USA look like Olympic Christmas Sweaters... no offense to designer, Ralph Lauren. I don't KNOW, but I'd say Ralph gave them a heck of a deal on the gear, judging by how prominent the "POLO" is placed on said sweater.
PORTUGAL LOVES WATERMELON.
There jackets look like giant slices of watermelon. No one noticed this beforehand?
Not to be a total jerk, there have also been some AMAZING Olympic moments already. Did you see the Russian teenager's skating performance? CLICK HERE for performance video. 15 year old Julia is incredible and effortless. Simply amazing.
Also, let's discuss the "TEAM SKATING." It's a new entry to the Olympics this year... I find it facinating. The event combined scores from the short and long programs in all four skating disciplines: men’s singles, ladies singles, pairs and ice dancing.
Meryl Davis & Charlie White set a record for the highest score recorded in a free skate event, helping the USA to bronze in the inaugural team skating event. Here's Meryl and Charlie's performance: CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO
