Meet Emarion!
He started his cancer journey in June 2022. His foot pain started in 2020 and doctors kept saying it’s due to growth in his feet but in January 2022 it began to form a knot under the skin. Doctors did X-rays and still saw nothing.
The cyst became larger with more pain so he was referred to a foot specialist who recommended surgery. During surgery, doctors realized with was a cancerous cyst.
Emarion began chemotherapy at U of M hospital in June and had half his foot amputated in October.
Emarion is so brave and goes through everything with a smile on his face.
