Crayola's New Blue Crayon: Name It!

We said goodbye to the Crayola crayon we knew as Dandelion last month and now ... meet the new blue in the box!

This particular color was first discovered in 2000 by a chemistry professor at Oregon State University while experimenting with materials meant to be used in electronics.

Crayola says the new color blue crayon still needs to be named and has asked the public to submit ideas on it's website now through June 2, 2017.
